The three-dimensional graphics of the Endling game are maintained in a cartoonish style. As we progress, not only do we see more and more clearly the differences between the pups (each is equipped with its own personality), but we also see them grow up and turn from initially defenseless creatures into better predators.

An important role is also played by the hideout where the fox and her children spend the day, planning their next moves. During the gameplay, we traverse diverse locations, hunt smaller game (and at the same time try to avoid a situation in which our protégée becomes a prey herself, which usually requires stealthy action under the cover of night), and make morally ambiguous decisions. In Endling the action is shown from the side.

The title allows us to play the role of a vixen who, together with her three puppies, tries to reach a place where they will not be harmed by humans as if by the way, the heroine teaches her offspring the art of survival in an inhospitable world for them.

The plotĮndling shows a dystopian vision of the future - mankind's overuse of natural resources has led to environmental pollution, threatening the lives of wild animals. The production was developed by the independent Spanish team Herobeat Studios, consisting of people who previously worked for such companies as King, Atari, Ubisoft and Electronic Arts. Endling is a survival-enhanced adventure game.
